Bandr privacy policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
Bandr helps a band plan rehearsals and gigs, share songs and demos, and keep track of its money and contacts. This page explains what we store, why, and what you can do about it.
What we store
- Your account: your name, your email address and your password (stored only as a secure hash). If you use Continue with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
- What your band adds: events and your answers, songs and lyrics, demos (audio files) and comments on them, money entries, contacts (names, cities, emails, phone numbers, links and notes about venues, bands and bookers), and the band's public page.
- Technical logs: for each request, the address called, the result, how long it took and your account id. We use them to keep the service running and to fix problems.
We don't read your phone's address book, location, photos or microphone. There is no advertising, no tracking across other apps and websites, and no analytics.
Who can see it
- What you add to a band is visible to the members of that band only.
- The band's public page, once an admin publishes it, is visible to anyone with its address.
- The calendar feed is visible to anyone who has the band's private feed link.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We only use these providers, for these purposes:
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server and stores the data.
- Resend, which sends password-reset emails (it receives your email address and the code).
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. Database backups are kept for 14 days. Password-reset codes expire after a few minutes.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time in the app: tap your band's name at the top, then Delete my account. This deletes your account, and the bands where you are the only member, with their demos. Bands you share with others stay with the other members.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing support@bandr.axel-ja.fr. If you live in the European Union, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Children
Bandr isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
